Great leashApr 26, 2012
By Samantha Saneda This leash replaced a cotton leash we had for a couple years - the nylon ones are hard on the hands. This is good quality and soft and holds up to the wear and tear of my rambunctious 60lb dog!
My favorite leash.Jan 12, 2012
By T. Neiding Okay so this leash is incredible and I don't use any others (except a flexi) because the typical nylon and leather leashes are hard on my hands and wrists. The collars are also soft on my dogs coat and don't cause the balding she usually has with harder leather or nylon and even when wet the looser weave lets them dry fairly quick. I would not hesitate to walk any size dog on this leash despite how thin and light the material seems as it is really strong and has held up well even with my large rowdy mastiff/lab mix puppy chomping on it - the weave seems to be loose enough that her teeth go straight through between the fibers rather than cutting through them, this prevents the type of damage that you see with leather or tightly woven nylon when chewed. She has chewed through 3 collars, 2 harnesses, and get this 4 nylon leashes, these are the only leashes I still have after 6 months with her and she is HARD on all my equipment. She also has one of the collars and the plastic snap has not failed once despite her being big enough she could go up a size or two now. The only possible negative to these leads is that because of the almost knitted texture of the material, mud and dirt cling to it pretty bad though dry dirt or dust is pretty much invisible on them ( even the tan colored ones) the run off after washing can be pretty gross. Still they wash well in machines without an agitator or by hand.
