Simple, Reliable, UnobtrusiveFeb 20, 2011
By Cyan This classy looking heater is currently keeping my 4 gallon at a steady 74 degrees. The temperature gauge is easy to read and sturdy enough that you won't have to worry about accidentally sliding it to another temperature.
Great for pico tankFeb 07, 2011
By docshoes Purchased this for a 2.5g pico reef tank because I did not want to chance breakage of a glass heater. I tried 3 other shatterproof heaters that increased water temp dramatically over my desired 78. This one keeps the tiny tank at a very reliable, constant temp.
Note: it is recommended in the instructions to place it horizontally just above the substrate. I don't know if this is absolutely necessary, but I did just in case. Before placing rocks in the tank, it looked a little funny.
