This classy looking heater is currently keeping my 4 gallon at a steady 74 degrees. The temperature gauge is easy to read and sturdy enough that you won't have to worry about accidentally sliding it to another temperature.

Purchased this for a 2.5g pico reef tank because I did not want to chance breakage of a glass heater. I tried 3 other shatterproof heaters that increased water temp dramatically over my desired 78. This one keeps the tiny tank at a very reliable, constant temp.
Note: it is recommended in the instructions to place it horizontally just above the substrate. I don't know if this is absolutely necessary, but I did just in case. Before placing rocks in the tank, it looked a little funny.
