Amazing, Best Water Clarifier out there!Mar 02, 2012

First let me say that if you do not have a proper mechanical filter in your aquarium this product will be useless. Also if you are trying to use this because of a bacterial bloom due to a cycle, or addition of a lot of fish at once, the results are not going to be the best.
Now if you do have good water movement and a very good mechanic filter, this product will work wonders.
I have a 30 gallon freshwater tank, and occasionally the water gets a bit "fuzzy" we'll say. When I add this, the water immediately clouds. This is basically the flocculation agent being activated in the water column. It's second effects are when this stuff hits your mechanical filter. It makes the filter better at capturing tiny particles that circulate through it. Because of the flocculation taking effect in the tank, this creates a synergistic effect of sorts. The tiny particles floating around the tank stick together and once they are sucked through your mechanical filtration, it is much easier for the filter to capture them. As long as you have good water circulation and some chemical media, the cloud should disappear in 1-3 hours, but it may take longer if the water quality is very poor.
If you are having trouble with bacterial blooms (Whitish cloudy water), I'd suggest you try "Nutrafin Bio-Clear Biological Water Clarifier" as this product will more then likely be better suited to your needs.
Overall if you have an established tank that isn't cycling because of mismanagement... this product will work.
Clarifiers are not a replacement for good maintenance! They only enhance the water quality of a properly managed aquarium.
