Put to the test and very surprised by the results!May 25, 2009
By Sparky Spring has finally arrived here in the north and with it come the ticks. Yuck! I have two dogs and found one tick on my husky mix and four ticks on my pit mix. Seeing as my pit was having more problems, I sprayed her down with Adams flea & tick spray about 10 days ago, but I did NOT spray my husky at the time.
This past weekend we went out of town to go hiking in Minnesota and we ended up having an experiment without trying. The ticks there were HORRIBLE, the worst I have ever experienced.
I took my dogs out hiking at a state park in the morning and when we came back to camp I found four ticks on my husky, who, as previously noted, did not have any tick spray on him. My pit was clean, as was I.
We then went on a hike at the same park in the afternoon. The result... I had three ticks crawling on my legs. My husky had over 20 ticks (!) crawling around on him. My pit had one tick on her paw, but I never sprayed her paw with Adams flea & tick spray, so I can't blame that one on them.
That night I found a few more ticks on my husky, and when we drove home the next day he had another three ticks crawling around on him during the drive that I had to pull over and remove.
The results were astounding. My unprotected husky had 20+ ticks. My pit had one tick. Both dogs were leashed during our hikes and remained on the trail. The only difference is my pit had Adams sprayed on 10 days ago while my husky did not. If that is any indication to the effectiveness of this product, then I will remain a customer for years to come!

This worked Frontline did notNov 02, 2009
By Christine Spangler I find it seriously interesting that for some reason the frontline plus that we bought just did not cut it, it killed no fleas. I watched the fleas walk over top of the wet fur and it did not phase them at all. Now I have used frontline plus effectively before, But it just did not work this time. But the adams flea spray was a life saver. The fleas where so bad, I sprayed all 8 of my cats, and got scratched alot while doing it. Not fun because this stuff feels like alcohol on a cut. It killed fleas almost immediately you will see them lying around your house. I sprayed it all over my carpet and sprayed there bedding. It doesnt make them gag when they lick it either.

This stuff kills Bedbugs too!Dec 29, 2010
By plbuck Kills bedbugs almost instantly, even though they are not listed on its label. Where Pronto and Hot Shot failed for me; Adams flea and tick spray worked! Highly recommended. Get the kind that says "Safe for dogs and cats" instead of "Safe for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies" because: 1. The dog/cat spray has an added ingredient which lingers and kills the eggs while keeping the young from maturing sexually. 2. The dogs, cats, kittens and puppies version has an overwhelming perfumey smell.

Finally!!!Aug 08, 2010

My dogs were being eaten alive by fleas. I have ordered a big supply of frontline from another website. it will take two weeks for it to get here. In the mean time, I have been trying sprays to get rid of them and keep them away until the frontline arrives. I used hartz flea spray which did not help. I put garlic in their food and that helped repel the critters. I needed something that would kill and repel. I always use amazon reviews when I buy anything online. That is what convinced me this time. I gave them both a bath and then sprayed them with Adams from head to tail. You can tell it is going to work after you get a whif of this stuff. I sprayed them inside my garage with the door closed to prevent wasting any to the atmosphere and I was almost overcome with the smell. But the end result was no more fleas; at least for now. They look so at ease compared to the thrashing around to get those critters off. Most of the skin irritation has abated. I will keep a bottle on hand just in case the frontline proves to be worthless. I would purchase this product in a minute.

fleas be gone!Oct 15, 2011
By Possum I have not used a flea spray in a long time because I use Frontline Plus on all my dogs. But Frontline doesn't seem to be doing the job lately. I spray the dogs mid month. I used to use Adams because it had a pleasant smell. The have changed the formula and this does not smell so pleasant but it does kill the fleas and that's what it is suppose to do.
