Do not buy this if you don't plan to bend over and almost touch your toes to pick up the poo; it's very very short. The "jaw" opening is also very small. We have two small dogs and it's hit or miss if I'll get the poo in one scoop or two. The plastic is thick and doesn't seem brittle. Overall build quality is decent.

I don't really know what one looks for in purchasing a pooper scooper, but I ordered this one because it was one of the cheapest. I'm very happy with it, as it seems pretty durably made and gets the job done picking up after my pugs in the backyard. Only complaint is the handle is a bit short, but it's not really an issue. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.

This is a great product for dog owners. I just attach my little bag holder on the handle and there are always bags ready. It's very easy to use, and I don't have to smell the poop at all.

We have used one of these and it is great for people who have trouble bending over. But it broke and so I bought this one. Unfortunately, they have changed the style and removed the hooks which are used to attach the handles of the bags. It is much harder to use.
