5Wow, works greatNov 18, 2009

This is more like a contact cement than a "primer". I used it with some of the double sided tape sealer to join my pond liner. You can find directions on the Internet, but basically I poured some of this on one of those abrasive scrubber pads, and scrubbed the area to be joined (both edges of the liner). This insures the primer adheres very well to the liner. Then I unrolled the double sided tape, leaving the paper on one side still. This was on top of a 2x4, so the liner was flat and even. Then I folded the other liner on top of the tape (which also had the primer on it), and pulled the paper off the tape. Then I pushed the liner smooth together with my hands, then used a heavy roller to push the liners together hard. I can't imagine it will ever leak.

5This primer really makes the liner stickJan 04, 2012
By Richard Andrews
The aquascape seam tape primer seems to consist of a solvent that actuates the allied rubber cement. When using this product, the rubber liner pieces stick together in an aggressive manner.

5you must have thisJul 08, 2011
By scheidell
If you are splicing together a stream, or something with running water, you MUST have this, as a normal 'overlap/doubleback tape seam' will pull apart eventually.

if you want your work to last, use this ON TOP OF the overlap/doubleback tape seam'

(but, be careful: as the label says' once you open this, it will start to gel, and be useless after 24 hours.. so plan your work, get it all done in 24 hours)
