By Caddyman Very good aquarium heater. Once installed it brought a 55 gallon tank up to temp in a little over 2 hours. Been constant ever since!!

Good heater: holds a nice steady temperature, but runs a bit lowMar 26, 2011
By Martin Ralya I picked up this heater for our 10-gallon tank, and after several days of adjusting it and watching our tank thermometer, I'm happy with it. It attaches easily, the indicator light is great, and fully submerging it hasn't caused any problems.
The only downside is that it consistently runs 2-3 degrees low: I have it set to 80, and it keeps the tank at 77-78. That wasn't hard to figure out, though, and it does hold the water at a steady temperature.
Given the horror stories I've read about other heaters, I'll take one that runs low and steady over one with serious problems any day.
Update: A month later, it's still rock solid, responsive to changes in temperature (like when I add water during a water change), and performing well.

Temp gauge works like a charm!May 18, 2011
By bohmac I've had several heaters in the past. Most of them had a sliding scale of Hot and Hotter. This one has a temperature gauge with ACTUAL NUMBERS on it. Not only that, they work too! I'm so pleased with this heater. It's awesome, and way better than the others I've had in the past. It looks better too.

Best heater I've hadAug 03, 2011

With a sturdy body for feisty fish like silver dollars and a handy indicator light this is a very accurate heater. It keeps my 36 gallon at perfect temp with only 150 watts.
