Does what it's supposed to!Apr 03, 2012
By NKG works well on 1/4" glass but not suitable for anything thicker. No scratches (only have glass aquariums) cleans fantastically but wished that in the description it gave the recommended glass thickness.
Eh, its okMar 28, 2012
By jackie It does the job, though you have to go over the area a few times. You still have to be careful not to get gravel stuck in the scrubber. The best thing I can say about it is that it is all black, so you can hide it in the aquarium easily.

By Jeremy Frank "weighted scrubber falls straight down after separation" How is that a good feature? It is already weighted because it's a magnet people. Why would you want it to fall to the bottom? EVER? Mag-Float cleaners are WAY better because they float to the top where you can easily grab them for retrieval. They do not "float away" while you are cleaning either. These non-floating cleaners fall down and tip over backward onto your substrate making a mess, and potentially crushing plants and snails. Not only is it damaging, it is also annoying to have to reach in to get it with your hand (especially with taller tanks). They do come with a little tab on each side to tie a string so you can pull it back up WHEN it falls down. Who wants a nasty string hanging off of their aquarium when you could just get the cleaner that works properly for a few bucks more? Don't waste your money on this one.
Works even better if...Feb 29, 2012
By Demetrius You put a folded paper towel on the inside magnet. Otherwise you will see streaks on the the glass. The magnet is super strong. Be careful not to pinch your fingers in it! Clean your glass really well first, then use this a couple times a week. It is for maintenance, not deep cleaning.
