Black artic doggie bootsFeb 06, 2010
By Marto Black Artic Boots : they fit our dog very well... however, the elastic straps frayed and came off after a couple of weeks of wearing. Also, the plastic "treads" on the bottom also came loose after a couple of weeks.

shipping costs more than the bootiesJan 21, 2009

These arctic boots, made of fleece with a small velcro tab for closure and a small sewn on patch on the bottom (where their pad would be) worked for my small dog once I fought with him to get them on. anyone buying these should e-mail the seller first and ask what size is recommended for there breed of dog. the small print in the ad says to measure the dog for a more accurate fit but its harder to do this than its said and the package they arrived in, has a great sizing chart size on the back for a variety of different breeds, which sellers should use and show instead of what they suggest. Also know that the shipping is more expensive than the product itself which doesnt make alot of sense to me since fleece weighs maybe an ounce and they were also sent in a large padded envelope.? fleece boots are not good in real wet conditions for obvious reasons or on icy terrain because the bottom patches tend to give in to sliding. however, they do work fine in dry cold and snow and gives at least, some protection.
Not bad but I could probably make them myselfOct 06, 2011
By Elaine Brady These items seem to be working fairly well, though they may be a bit large (I got size small for my brother's brittany hunting dog. However, I'm pretty sure that once these got lost or chewed up, I won't purchase again-I'm pretty sure I can make a reasonable approximation with tube socks, some wide elastic bands, some velcro, and some sort of textured plastic. I don't think it's a bad buy for the price, but if you're handy, make your own.
Well made, but check the sizing.Feb 13, 2011
By S. Power Call the company to check what size you should get for your dog before buying these. Sizing is crucial. They are well made, durable, and if they fit perfectly will work perfectly. If you buy them one size wrong, they will be a nightmare to get on or keep on, depending if you buy too big or too small. They need to be the exact right size.
