Sturdy Dog CrateJun 06, 2009

The Kennel/crate tray is much sturdier than other plastic. My puppy has a tendency to eat plastic trays w/in 1 week. This kennel is well worth the cost. The only negative comment is that the box was pretty torn up when it arrived and a corner of the metal tray was slightly bent. Overall, I would purchase again! Update Sept 2010; kennel still going strong.. she loves it! Most sturdy kennel ever purchased!

Very Happy So FarJul 07, 2010
By KM I just got this crate delivered and set up. Setting it up took all of 5 minutes. Most of that was getting it out of the box. It would have gone faster if the instructions weren't at the bottom too. This was the easiest crate set up EVER! It appears to be of good construction and I like the metal pan instead of the plastic one. It has a couple of scratches but then as soon as my dog gets in it will have more. Overall it appears to be well made and of good materials. One door on top, one door on the long side and one door on the short side.
The crate is quite large. I have a VERY large GSD who at 8 months is almost 70 lbs., very tall and still growing. She has outgrown the largest Furrari plastic sided crate I could find. I paid almost $200.00 for that one! It is a great crate and my smaller GSD will inherit it now. My girl is a very strong powerful dog and this crate looks like it will be strong enough to keep her confined. Not that she makes a huge fuss, she Loves her den. But she is just so big when she shifts position her old crate would move or shift with her. Hopefully having a larger space will eliminate that all together.
A couple of people were upset at the shipping and handling charges. I noticed that too and was a bit put off by it myself. However, I shopped around a good bit before ordering and found that even with the high shipping charges included it was still the best overall price out there at this time. The closest I could find was still almost $30. higher. I felt this was still a bargain. It shipped VERY fast and arrived 7 days before the date I was given for delivery. So far it has been a great experience. If that changes with use, I will update the review.

49" pet crateMar 12, 2010

This crate is wonderful. It has 3 doors, even one on top, which make it easy to clean and to replace food and water. My two dogs, a Siberian Husky and a Border Collie pup sleep together very comfortably. Great product for a great price.

Good unless your dog is smart and strong.Oct 21, 2010
By N. Foust We bought this kennel when our Akita pup outgrew his plastic kennel. The kennel is easy to set up and take down. The metal pan is a huge benefit. He would have eaten or cracked a plastic one in no time. It has tons of room inside it at 6 months old and about 70# he can still stretch out in it. The downside is that he was able to bend the metal door and the metal bars that frame the door. He also figured out how to pop the door latches. He managed to get out of it twice so now we use metal carbiners to lock the latches. The metal is maybe a bit too soft, this enabled him to bend the door and frame but he is a bit of a moose. Other than this it is well worth the money. If you have a very strong and determined dog it might not hold up so well.

Great Dog CrateAug 23, 2010
By Kahlua We have a 160lbs. Rottweiler. She loves this crate as it's very spacey. This is a solid purchase. We weren't to sure at first when we ordered this. We were thinking this crate was going to be cheaply made compared to the price. The name brand ones we're $30 to $50 more. Once we received this, what an excellent purchase it was. One thing we really like it the way the it locks. The latches have a 90 degree bend on the end, which makes it a difficult for our 2 year old to try to open. Once again, I would recommend anyone to purchase this.
