Only buy a DOUBLE-BUCKLING harnass!!!Sep 19, 2010

First, let me state that we have an "indoor-mostly" cat. I say "indoor-mostly" because she is primarily inside the house, but we introduced the notion of bringing her outside often so we could enjoy her outside as well. This means walking her on a leash, using a stake outside in our backyard, brining her in carriers to places like parks, etc. It was one of the best decisions we've made with her. Ok, now to an explanation of the harnass...
We started our cat (actually kitten) out with a kitten harnass that was purchased at Pet Smart, which I guess is called an "H" harnass due to its shape. Here's the thing...ALL of the harnasses available at the pet stores we visited ONLY carry the SINGLE-BUCKLING harnass! Let me explain: the "belt" that goes around her body buckled, but the "neck belt" had two adjustable straps only...NO BUCKLE HERE. This meant that every time we wanted to put the harnass on, we had to englarge the neck belt to put it on AND to take it off...that means that--to take it off--your kitty has to have PATIENCE! Thankfully, ours did, althought she (and no cat) particularly likes things going on or off their heads!
So, I looked online to find a double-buckling harnass since I thought that someone must have thought of this idea. THIS HARNASS IS IT! With this harnass, you make your initial size adjustments for both the neck and the body belts and YOU'RE DONE! Taking this harnass on and off is a snap...literally!!...Ok, I should say "two snaps."
After using this harnass, I will no longer use a single-buckle harnass. The two-buckle harnass is the way to go, hands down. The best of both worlds is combined: (i) a secure harnass that keeps your kitty secure and (ii) absolute ease in putting this on and off with minimal (if any) discomfort to the cat.
Additionally, the item shipped and arrived timely in mint condition. The item also comes in other colors, including red and black. For anyone that wants a quality product that will easily allow you to enjoy your cat (additional family member) outside, this is the way to go...dogs aren't the only ones that can be walked, staked, etc. I highly recommend this product and this seller.

this is a wonderful harness, the cat is not able to get out of when they get scared by cars, people or other noises.
