 Dangerous to leave on a dog alone.Mar 26, 2011

Had these tags for two days. Allowed my two dogs to run out in the back yard for an hour. I suddenly heard horrible yelping and screaming. I immediately go out and find my dogs locked together at the neck. In playing, my dogs had gotten the clips locked together. Both dogs had cuts on their gums from pretty much going nuts trying to get away. DO NOT LEAVE THESE ON AN UNSUPERVISED DOG! I ended up having to break the clip off.

Ordered the clasp because smaller coach clasps with split rings are hard to find, but was expecting 1.5". Got 1.25 inches, and yes, a quarter of an inch makes a difference when fashioning jewelry. Solved my problem by adding a slightly larger split ring, but I can't say I'm totally happy about the final product; mine or the the clasp.
