 Accidently put play sand in my aquariumApr 19, 2012

this product cleared up my 37 gallon tank in 6 hours. I read somewhere, that you had to wash play sand before putting it in your aquarium. what i didn't understand was that you had to wash it 10x, not just once. For 3 days, i left the filter on hoping it would suck up anything that wouldn't settle to the bottom itself. There was no change.
After a few hours letting this product do it's thing, about half the bottle and 6 hrs later, my tank was clear. All i need now is to get off my lazy butt and do a good gravel cleaning.

I overfeed my fish, as you can imagine was a lot of waste from all of them and my aquarium got cloudy water. I bought the Aqueon water Clarifier and Clears cloudy water in few hours, is safe for all fish and plants. I clean 20% of the water, later add new water, add water conditioner and water clarifier (the filter was new). This product as any other water clarifier is a temporary cure. Keeping your aquarium in good levels of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate plus not overfeeding or overcrowding is the best answer to a healthy aquarium and happy fish.
An aquarium normally will cycle in 6 weeks; Ammonia and Nitrites need to be 0 ppm and Nitrates 5+ ppm when the cycle is complete.
Best products for fresh water aquariums: (My experience)
*Water conditioner: Seachem Prime.
*To control Ammonia levels: Microbe-Lift Ammonia Remover.
*To control Nitrite and Nitrate levels: Microbe-Lift Nite Out II.
*To keep water clear and help control of Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate: Seachem Purigen 100ml.
