This is your average silicone tubing. I am using this in an outside tank that is 4 feet deep, so I am hoping it holds up well to the elements. It seems flexible and doesn't kink so there is always good air flow.

I prefer the silicone over the vinyl because it doesn't kink as easily, and is more flexible.
The silicone also cooperates better in colder weather, where the vinyl has to be warm or it is a brittle mess....

Used other clear tubing and when water got colder due to weather, tubes got harder and leaked air. I replaced with this tubing and even in colder water, tubing remained same flexibility and did not leak air in the aquarium. Also seemed alot easier to work with than other tubing.

it is a 20ft 3/16 silicone hose nothing more nothing less. Not as if they could add anything to it because its just tubing
