I purchased the platinum fountain because my cat had a urinary tract condition. My four cats now enjoy the fountain. It was easy to purchase and also included were the charcoal cartridges and cleaning tools. It did take a while for all of my cats to become comfortable with the fountain...be patient if your cat is timid at first. I feel great about spending the money for this product for what it offers!
