My fish are still alive! :-)Jun 27, 2011
By AC I was going on vacation for 10 days, and thought about everything except how to feed my finicky fish while I was gone. My immediate thought was to go down to Walmart and pick up the first cheap fish feeders I saw, the problem is my custom fish tank has a weird rim that doesn't allow for the clip on fish feeder sold there.
After reading several reviews, I decided to go with the Eheim, but was then worried that it wouldn't be delivered before I had to leave. Thankfully Amazon sent this to me with plenty of time to spare. The customizable feeding settings were much more accomodating than I expected. With several ways to attach it to an aqaurium, I was easily able to attach it to mine. And, the double feeding compartments allowed me to maintain their alternating diet with ease.
Still a little worried, I came back from my vacation expecting to see a couple floaters - but thankfully I was wrong. Everyone of them are still alive and well, so it goes without saying that if you're as attached to your fish as I am, I would HIGHLY recommend this feeder - thank you Amazon.

CAREFUL!Dec 08, 2010
By Fabiano Pfeilsticker This feeder is only for large aquariums with lots of fish because the smallest amount of food dumped in the water is great (for about 15 big fish at least !!!!)

This product does not work well. Its screw mechnism does not push the food very well. I would look at the other Ehiem feeder as that one is better and cheaper.

Twin Fish FeederJul 10, 2009
By Tom C Best feeder I have. Large flakes need to be crushed to facilitate being moved by the "screw". Smaller fish food feeds nicely. I have used one continously for 11 months with no problems.
Fish feeder for you to get.Apr 12, 2012
By Burley Master We have 2 of this type of feeders they work well with 3mm pellets and flake foods. We also feed 1mm pellets food and we have to keep cleaning it out the gap in the feeder from the auger and bottom is too large and keeps binding up all the time and stop feeding food. I am need of a fix for this. We have liked this feeder over all and would tell you get buy one for you fish tank it has done very well.
