A dream come trueMar 08, 2006
By T. Taitt I have two cats with two very different personalities and coat types. I've tried several different brushes and found that they still left fur behind or didn't appeal to both. That's why I was shocked when I started to use this brush. First off I didn't have to chase either around or struggle to keep them still while I was brushing them. There were instant purrs! The brush caught all the fur my other brushes were leaving behind and trapped some cat dander. I saw results with both the long haired and short haired cats. Their fur was soft and shining when I got done. The brush has wire bristles that look as if they would hurt but once you touch or press your fingers against them you see that they don't. Its so easy to clean, you can use your fingers or a comb both work fine. Now when I show them the brush, they come on their own. I wish I found this sooner!

Great for skittish long hairs!Dec 17, 2009
By J. Johnston My newly adopted, but quite mature cat was not all that excited about getting brushed until I finally tried this one. He really likes this one and it does a great job in no time. It is well made and a good value.

Great Slicker Brush!Feb 05, 2011
By F. Mosher This is the first and only brush my cat has liked or even tolerated. I got her from a shelter at the age of 18 months and she doesn't even enjoy being petted. I think she must have very sensitive skin. However, she has very long hair and just can't take care of it herself so based on the reviews I purchased this brush. It's been wonderful! She allowed me to brush her right away and seemed to enjoy it. It gets lots of the loose hair and large mats, but you still need a comb too.

The cats tolerate it...Dec 15, 2010

Actually, one of my cats actually purrs the whole time I brush him. My other cat doesn't much like it, but tolerates a few brushes then runs away. He is a Maine coon though, so it didn't surprise me. I'd like the brush better is it wasn't quite as wide; it's hard to do much but their backs, tummy and sides with this large brush. Now if I can only buy a product that motivates the cat owner to brush everyday.

Not just good for animals!Sep 05, 2011
By Catherine My four cats enjoy being brushed with this product....BUT the amazing thing that we found with this brush is the house keeping benefits. We found that it works well removing fur from lampshades, fan grills and furniture. What an awesome surprise to find out that your pet brush also cleans house!
