It is so nice to be able to drive my car without my dog's paws on the drivers console. I have a 10 year old 55 lb. English Setter, and he hasn't even tried to get into the front seat. I'm so glad I took a chance on this product.

There's not much to this barrier. It's basically a piece of cloth that straps between two seats. But for this price you shouldn't expect much. Fortunately, it meets our needs. We drive a Mazda 5 and we needed something to keep our two dogs in the back of car. They are fairly well behaved and we figured it wouldn't take much of an obstruction to keep them back there. We probably could have used a piece of cardboard. Our newborn rides in one of the middle seats and we didn't want the dogs moving forward to bother her and this product works as intended. My only complaint is that the straps don't stay very tight and as a result the barrier moves around a bit. This enables a dog to poke their head underneath and one time when it was very loose they moved forward. Now we try to make sure the straps are tight before putting the dogs in the car. I would recommend this product only for well behaved dogs that don't typically jump seats. Otherwise, a dog so inclined could easily jump over the barrier or work their way underneath it.

My German Shepherd is still a puppy, so I didn't need anything to extreme right now. But it does its job and blocks the front. It went on real easy. Good price for the quality of this simple item. If you have a little dog or a puppy who isn't a huge jumper or really hyper this should work for you. It is thin, the fabric reminds me of the stuff they make bookbags out of (If you were wondering how sturdy it would be). All in all get it and if you don't like it, its only 10 bucks so no big loss. :)

Works great to keep our Aussie Healer from trying to drive the car. Easy to install and a ;good height. Looks nice and is very effective in preventing the dog from taking over the front seat. Very reasonable price. No sharp corners so no chance of injury.
