Real treat for a cockatielJun 23, 2010

My cockatiel loves these treats. They are fairly solid, and the bird must spend some time to finish one. It takes a few days, and he seems to enjoy every minute. His pecking helps keep his beak in shape and gives him something to do when he goes back into his cage. I don't keep one available at all times, however - I want to keep him from becoming overweight.

My grand-daughters hamster ( snowball ) loves these! We break the sticks in half because they are so large, they are bigger than him! He gets really excited and LOVES when he gets them.

My cockatiel absolutely loves these. She loves them so much that she can finish a whole one in a single day so I actually have to take them away from her. It's basically bird candy. Stay in place in the cage well.

These are great if you're going away for a few days and want to leave something behind that will keep your furry friend happy and fed. Our hamster (Blackberry) likes to break this up (which takes a while as each bar is about as big as she is) and then carry it bit by bit up into her lookout tower. We've bought several packages and will buy more.
