It says on the box that it's recommended for the Hydrofarm. But it can be used for all your aerateing and circulating needs. I's way better than those 4,6,10,12" airstones Give it a try, u won't b disapointed. If u are, I'm hear for u. lol

I've used a few air stones and this is the only one so far that hasn't let me down. It's heavy enough so that it does not float. And, it's the only one I've used that has never clogged. I would buy this one again. I wish they had a 3-inch version. Excellent product.

First off the package came with the company's name on it hydro something or other... had to pick my package up for my apt front office .... real discrete!
Only half of the stone works. Bubbles only come from one side. Air seeps out of the super cheap seems.
