Best grooming tool EVER for German Shepherds!Sep 08, 2007
By CMI I have had Shepherds for over 20 years and have wasted tons of money on various combs/rakes/brushes/curries trying to find something that works on this breed's coat. My search is over! I just had the most productive 30 minute grooming session EVER with my 11 year old Shepherd. Very little effort on my part to get tons of that hard-to-get undercoat out and Jenna loved it so much she FELL ASLEEP during the session! I had to wake her up to have her roll over so I could do the other side and she immediately fell right back asleep...must feel like a doggie massage! Would recommend this product to anyone owning a Shepherd!

Works great!Apr 14, 2011
By Justin Zakrzewski I have two dogs, one a border collie/shepherd mix with LONG/FULL(lots of) hair and the other a pit/greyhound mix with SHORT/FULL hair. Both shed like crazy and although this rake says it can be used on all hair types, it works much better on the long hair. It works on the short hair, but just seems to loosen the undercoat and raise the shedding hair to the surface where you need to wipe it off or use another brush to collect it. But, this DOES work beautifully for the long hair! In about 2 mins I collected a massive hair ball, and the only problem I can see is that my dog liked it too much and just laid down to enjoy it.
Needless to say, one side of her got much more brushing than the other.
5 stars for the use on long hair!

JW Pet Co. Dog BrushAug 11, 2011
By Kentucky Billhilly The brush works better than any I've ever owned. Of course it works better with long hair dogs but still will remove some hair from shorter hair dogs as well. It's worth the money.
This is the one you've been looking for!May 13, 2012
By Buck Naked I have bought brushes, the furminator, you name it and nothing has worked until this. My dog loves it and so do I. You can see it actually pulling out dead hair from the undercoat. This will make my life so much easier.
Get's alot of hairMay 03, 2012
By Peter My 8 month old german shepherd is currently in the middle of blowing his coat...received the brush yesterday and within 15 minutes of brushing him, I had a 1 foot tall ball of hair. Works just like it says and feels very sturdy in the hand. Make sure to brush at an angle as shown in the directions on the back, my dog wasn't a fan of the first way I was brushing (horizontal) but when I angled it, he was completely fine and laid down for me.
