Not From AmazonNov 28, 2011

I didn't buy this from Amazon. I have a Golden retreiver and used it for about a year and a half before a large section of teeth fell out. The look and feel was just what what I was looking for. I think my problem was using it to comb out the dogs coat. I probably should have brushed out the coat first removed the tangles with a larger comb and finished with the flea comb. I still have the large comb and the brush. I don't know if I will buy the matching flea comb as I am still thinking about it. All three of the items look just like the picture. if yours does not, send them back.
Follow up: In January 2012 I bought another one from Amazon to replace the one I broke, because I liked it. The one I received is not the same as the one I had that is showen in the picture. I don't like the new YELLOW handle and think the picture should show the new comb and not the old one.

sharp flea combMay 03, 2012
By ArtMom I am an avid flea comber for our 2 cats (DSH) and short-haired dog. I can be a bit vigorous at times chasing down those pesky fleas. The tines on this comb were a bit too sharp and thin, and would actually bend and break off while I combed, scratching the poor critters. They would cringe or just run & hide when they saw me reach for it. I finally tossed it and bought one with shorter tines and more rounded tips. The pets seem pleasantly surprised. If you're a vigorous comber, watch out.

By catfish51 This is the third flea comb that I have purchased and it has the most comfortable handle of all of them.Others had handles that were hard and they were hard on your hand if you combed for any length of time.
Doesn't work that wellSep 19, 2011
By Pgenter I bought this comb because I like the look of it.I use it on my nieces dog and it kept getting stuck on the dog coat.I have a cat with a bad case of fleas. The comb goes though the hair but the flea come out on the side of the comb. It picks up a lot of flea but they get attached to me and now I have tons of flea bites. So now I have to use spray/comb combo to kill the fleas.
