Boring to my cats.Dec 27, 2010

These Kong branded toys were a real letdown. They looked like hair scrunchies, only smaller and tighter. They were covered in a soft fabric. I received 2 on the card they were attached to, both a very dull and ugly tan color. The pic Amazon.com uses shows you get two, maybe one in red, and one in blue, or two colors at least. Not so in my case.
My 10 cats were like, 'What the heck are these boring things?' They didn't play with them at all. Each kitty investigated these new items, but were nonplussed. Even the smaller 7 month old kittens were not interested. I rolled them around in some dried catnip, and that was the only way I could get 2 of my toms slightly interested, but even that playtime didn't last but a couple of minutes. What these toys needed was some feathers attached to them, or something. Some strings or strands or wispy things. They did make a very slight crinkle sound, but these toys were really duds, if you ask me and my ten furry toy testers. My cats gave them 2 paws down.
