This is a great toy. It's interactive and allows the dog to remove the little squeeky pouch from the mouth of the snake - and for the really adventurous dog, there is a tiny pouch in the tail as well. My dog worked on the tail pouch for an hour one day until finally removing it. The toy is quite durable as well. My dog is an expert at de-stuffing toys and tearing the seams. This toy lasts a long time before needing to be replaced. It's a great purchase and I recommend it highly.

These toys are among the best plush dog toys out there, and we've tried several. I don't think any are truly "indestructible" since there's always a dog somewhere that will defy that claim, but these are well made and worth buying for the majority of dogs. Just be *sure* to buy the size that suits your dog; don't buy one too small that can be swallowed easily! Dr. Noys' toys are great in that they always include an extra squeaker in the pack, and the toy squeaker is easily replaceable in its hidden velcro pouch. (Squeakers are not indestructible; that's why they include an extra. But the advantage here is that they are very secure, and can't be eaten.) You can even buy separate packages of squeakers if your dog is tough on plush toys. Or you can remove the squeaker if it drives you crazy! ;-) In the larger sizes you can replace the squeaker with a tennis ball for active dogs.
Pay attention to the sizes listed: extra-small is really small, best for only the tiniest toy breeds or for small puppies. Medium will work for most dogs, but if your dog is a shredder, loves to destroy plush toys, only get the large sizes. If you have certain breeds, like Staffordshire terriers and bull dogs, then perhaps another toy would be a wiser choice. You know your dog.
So if you're tired of buying so-called "dog toys" that are really glorified baby toys and easily destroyed, try these. Ours have lasted for two years with hard play, only replacing the squeakers. Even better, they're usually included in the Amazon 4-for-3 promotion, so you can get one free if you buy four (smaller sizes)! That way you can test out different designs, or save one for later. Highly recommended!

To be fair our dog rips through most toys, I had just hoped this one would be an exception. Oddly, although the body is ripped open at the end, the head is still in tact.
Despite being torn open, there wasn't much of a mess, and she still plays with it. She even brought it outside to the back yard, typically for things she really likes and doesn't want to share. :-) It went through the rain and then the washer and dryer and is still fine.

My dogs loved the snakes! They are very durable and hold up extremely well. I really like how the squeekers are replaceable. Very happy with my purchase.

This toy lasted longer than most cloth toys. It took my dog 2 days before he started shredding it. He went for the eyes first, and once he was able to separate them, next came the interior lining. All together it took about 2 weeks before it became so pieced that it had to be thrown away. On the plus side, because it had no stuffing he was able to keep it longer.
I probably wouldn't buy one again because my dog is just too aggressive with toys. So we'll be going back to the hard plastic Kong. If you have a dog that doesn't seek to destroy toys this would be a good purchase.
