Looks cheap, only 1/3 of collar is studded and the worst part is it's obviously not real leather! If you want to keep your dog don't trust this collar to do that.

it looks like the spikes r flat but they are so sharp our dog can't even wear it. if your dog likes to snuggle don't buy this.....got here quick tho and the seller gets 5 stars

I have a boxer female who is approx. 7 months old and this collar is HUGE on her...looks like a hula hoop on her neck lol. I even have it sized on the smallest hole. Maybe I will wait til she is fully grown to put it on her....as far as the collar goes it is very nice! Very flashy and seems to be made exceptionally well. I guess mine will collect dust til she is big enough to fit it because to return it will cost me.....looks like it is made for a great dane/st.bernard!

The collar was exactly what I wanted. However, this is not a collar that you can let the dog sleep with. It will eventually wear off the neck fur. It does protect his throat from my other dogs grabbing his collar and choking him - which is why I bought it.
