 Great alternative to loose hayDec 03, 2005

Timothy hay cubes are a great way for your adult rabbit to get the essential hay he needs in his daily diet without the mess of loose hay. The cubes are compact and take up less space than a pile of loose hay. Not only do they provide the fiber that rabbits need, but also provide excellent gnawing opportunities. My rabbit can't get enough of them!

I have an adult rabbit who eats one of these cubes a day! They are made of Western timothy, the best hay for a rabbit, and they help to keep his teeth in tip top shape. We often place the cube in a small cup and he will toss it into the air to play with it. I have been disappointed to learn that Kaytee is going to stop producing these cubes so I was happy to find them on amazon.

"Stainless"
Great brand name product. This seller has a great price. I have two bunnies: the little one likes these cubes and eats about one per week. The bigger bunnie LOVES these cubes, and eats about one per day for a week or two until she needs a break. What else can I say... these treats help keep sharp little teeth away from the furniture!

These are too expensive to feed little pancakes (rhinelander bunny) on a daily basis... plus they should be eating loose hay anyways. However this is a nice treat and she actually looks at it as such... As soon as I open the bag she hears it and perks up and goes nuts up until the point that I break off a 1/4 cube and give it to her to eat. She eats in in less than 5 minutes...lol
Overall these are nice, less messy but like I said above, I only use these as a treat just like I do with her pellets..

Have tried the loose timothy hay and thought this was a great idea. Our rabbit did not want anything to do with these cubes. The company was very kind and replaced them with the explanation that some rabbits are picky eaters. I received a replacement coupon to get a bag of hay for Manni!
