Fresh and quickDec 21, 2011
By Lane I have been feeding my Cockatiels this food for several years now. They are healthy and happy. I was getting this product from Petco and it is 9 dollars more there. I was a little worried about how long this was on a shelf at amazon but it is fresher than with Petco.
great price, my two lovebirds love itNov 27, 2011
By Kim Monreau Crowell Lafeber's Nutri-Berries are a wonderful snack for my lovebirds. Both love them as special treats and extra food with their daily pellets.
Most Definitely for the BirdsMar 26, 2011
By Antigone Walsh I have two cockatiels. After feeding them a variety of seeds, gourmet seeds, organic seed with fruit, vegetables, bug guts I wound up throwing out more than they were eating. Finally, I tried these. The birds love them. They must taste good and the nuggets give the beaks a workout. My vet is pleased with their physical condition which I attribute, in part, to this food. I do supplement with treats, fruit and vegetables and of course plenty of nice, clean water.
I am glad that this product comes in a large four pound container. The food remains fresh and the containers are useful when empty. I notice there is much less clean up although the birds will still shoot one (and only one) at the dog who is grateful for the treat.
nutrieberries are goodJan 11, 2011
By Dix my birds likes these a lot - especially little parakeet - he throws them all over in and out of the cage - I do not know if he is playing or is annoyed because they are little packed balls and he has to work at braking up and eating. But that is good for his foraging instinct - or so they say.
