Very convenient water dispenser for dogs on the goApr 13, 2007
By B. George This product is excellent for people who walk their dogs a lot. We take it everywhere with us and have it to be extremely useful. The only reason that it gets 4 stars instead of five is because not all of the water flows back into the bottle once the dog is done. In other words, it can drip a little, which is not a problem outdoors.

Best travel water bottle I've seenJun 05, 2007

What an ingenious item. Easy to carry, my dog likes it, saves water, etc. Lots of other options out there, but none that are as cleverly designed. I may buy a second as a back up!

Wonderful for travel on walks or in the car!Nov 10, 2007
By Marianne Walters I bought this for my dog a couple years ago and love it. I have a lab mix and the dish is deep enough he can get a good drink the dish fills as he drinks. What he doesn't drink you just pour back in the bottle and close the lid for the next drink. Works very well for car rides and walks too. I put mine through the dishwasher on the top rack.

Loose capFeb 18, 2009
By Wayne A. Skaggs Good idea but drinking tray is a bit difficult to deploy. Biggest problem, the bottle is too soft and the cap threads do not hold well. Over tighten slightly and cap pops off. Weight of bottle can pull out of cap when suspended by strap. I don't think I would buy another one.

Smart designOct 03, 2008
By S. Cheng I like this water bowl a lot. Obviously someone had the same need and invented it.... My dog and I now can go on long walks in the middle of the day with this bottle over my shoulder, he even started to look at the bottle and lick his lips as a hint when he is thirsty!
The only thing that can be improved is the ease of turning the "bowl" in and out. It does take a few seconds to get it back to its travelling status.... but I am truly impressed with the product as is.
