I bought this divider after my original (homemade) one broke and my two male bettas fought. My divider was made from those report cover binders much like what is in this product. The good thing about it though is that on the sides it is reinforced so the divider doesn't slip or have to be held up by gravel.
The screen that comes with this is really flimsy and not suitable for two male bettas, as it was clear and they could see each other well. I took the plastic canvas (purchased at a craft store) from my original divider and set it up with that instead. Works really well!

We had this product for less than a year before I noticed that fish were somehow breaching the screen. Further inspection revealed a huge gaping hole in the screen. When I removed the divider, the screen had tear marks and holes all over it, despite the fact that it had never been touched since being installed.

Keeps my two male Betta's from getting at each other and killing one another(splits a 10 gallon aquarium).Might be better if it wasn'tt see through.The frist few days my Betta's seem to be stressed seeing each other through the screen but have since learned to live next each other without trying to attacking one another through the screen mesh...lol
