Works as advertised.Oct 04, 2010
By Gary If you are looking for a brush to clean wine bottles keep looking. However, this "water bottle" brush works as intended and the little pull out mini brush is a nice addition.

makes cleaning water bottles easyAug 09, 2010
By Michelle Somers I had searched all over looking for a bottle brush that would actually fit through the neck of my rats' water bottles with no luck, so when I saw this one I immediately bought it. It fits! The wire is quite flexible, which is not my favorite thing because it means you can't scrub with it, but it does a much better job cleaning than I could do without it. The sipper tube brush is nice, though you really have to twist and push it in there, and I did get it stuck in a sipper tube the other day (my boyfriend was able to get it out, thankfully). Decent quality and a great price. So glad I found it!

Too big for tube of small bottleAug 23, 2010
By Kathleen Maybe I did something wrong here, buy I don't think so. I have the smallest (8 oz) Lixit bottles for my small birds. The smaller brush that is supposed to be used for cleaning the sippy tube they drink from is too big for this smallest size tube. At first it wouldn't go in; then it popped in and wouldn't come out. I've given up on it. But it means that not only the small brush but also the tube to one of my bottles are now trash. I'd love to know how your boy friend got it out, Michelle - a trick or brute force??
Moreover, the large brush is not as good quality as the baby bottle brush I've had for about 20 years. It was the small brush that was of interest. I am now buying a smaller, free-standing brush and some pipe cleaners from Amazon to see how they work for cleaning the tubes. (I did not buy the Lixit brushes from Amazon, BTW; got them from a bird supply place.)

Got rustyAug 31, 2011
By Jadeline I bought this for the smaller brush that I thought would be handy for cleaning the water bottle tube. However, after a few months of use, the white paint layer came off, exposing the metal wire which soon got rusty. So I tossed it and now use q-tip instead.
The large brush cleans the inside side of the bottle okay but not the bottom.

Very HelpfulApr 18, 2010
By Lalie These brushes help me keep my birds healthy and all their containers, etc clean. The brushes come in different sizes which makes it easy for the containers that come in different sizes also.
