Please DON'T buy!Dec 12, 2009
By Madhu This is one of the worst kits I have ever used. I got this from petsmart yesterday. My tank has been having some pH problems lately as the tap water hardness has dropped considerably.
This "supposed" Live meter did not work at all. The only thing it showed was the temperature and that also was wrong. Much higher than my tank temperature.
I was so disappointed that I returned it immediately for a refund. Please save yourself all the frustration and just don't buy this one.

VERY difficult to read.Oct 16, 2011
By FPChris VERY difficult to read. The result colors are FAR off the meter colors. Won't buy again. Save your money and get something else.

A good place to start....Feb 01, 2012
By roberta handler The meters are difficult to read--the color difference between 8.2 and 7.4 is really hard to distinguish. Also, the meter does not reset. If the meter identifies a problem, you have to change the strip. BUT,as long as you look at it regularly, it does identify a problem that you might not notice otherwise. I think it is worth the expense to catch ammonia and ph problems early.
