Didn't fit, pain in the buttDec 29, 2011
By ctoguy I will give this 3 stars out of the possibility that somehow I was too stupid to get the fit right, but I have an average size ferret and we were absolutely unable to get this thigh enough that he couldn't slip right out of it.

This harness is incredibly adjustable and fits my ferret perfectly! Now I just need to get her used to walking around on a leash...
Good, sturdy harness, but not for babies...Aug 20, 2011

I think we'll have to wait a little while before using this harness more than a couple times a week. It kind of weighs down our 2 month old ferret. He'll be walking around and if we let up on the leash, he plops to the ground. We have to hold him up so he can walk lol.
Good HarnessMay 05, 2011
By Whytelotus This H style harness is very good quality and very well made. I got the black harness for my baby boy, and it adjusts to fit perfectly. I would recommend this over other H style harnesses available. BTW there is no bell and no safety release so don't use it for around the house while unsupervised (buy a safety release bell collar for around the house if you have to)
Fits both ferrets well, makes for fun walkies!Feb 12, 2011
By Mindy These ferret harnesses are the kind I was looking for, not the vest type or the bungee type which I can imagine a ferret getting out of with enough effort. The only thing I didn't like was the harness only has the one strap along the back connecting the collar and armpit parts that snap together. I am used to harnesses that have a chest strap, that go between the front legs. This tends to keeps the harness correctly positioned on the animal. One of the ferrets got the thing spun around after first putting it on them, but since they have gotten used to it I haven't seen it happen again. Didn't ruin the product or anything, just usually see most harnesses designed in this way. The ferrets have enjoyed our little test walks outside, can't wait for Spring when they can go for walkies!
