The Perfect Ferret ToyMar 19, 2010
By Maggie R. Thomas
"Spotted Bat"
I just got this a few days ago from Amazon, and already it's turned into my ferret's favorite toy. Nothing else (save for a plastic water bottle that he likes more than his expensive toys, lol) has held his attention for as long as this, and he keeps going back for more! He especially finds it fun if you sit on the floor and twist it all around yourself, up over your shoulders and under your legs, so that he gets to climb, slide and twist to get through the whole thing. He also finds it likes me to run the tube through a dark cardboard box, or move the ends while he's in the middle so that it comes out in a new place every time. At twenty feet this tube stretches out well, much better than the other eight foot tubes that you can find in stores, and the clear plastic is nice because it allows you to see your ferret and vice-versa much better.
As one of the other reviews said, though, he does like to chew the ends; since I supervise him during play time, this hasn't been a problem, but I might take their advice and cover the edges with some duct tape. And even though he tries to "dig" his way out of the middle of the tube from inside, the plastic seems to be sturdy and is holding very well.
The tube also smelled very strongly of plastic when it first arrived, but it aired out well within about a day and no longer smells like anything.
Every ferret definitely needs one of these! =)

Every ferret owner needs oneMar 14, 2010

"bones"
We bought this for our ferrets and it is the most wonderful toy you could possibly buy. Our ferrets love when we wrap the tunnel around the furniture in the living room and chase each other from one side to the other. One added bonus to owning a super thru-way is that you get to see ferrets wag their tails. If you've never seen that, it's worth the money just to see a ferret wag their tail.
The only downside I've seen to it is that our ferrets like to chew on the ends of the tunnel, which can expose the wire, however we just added a little duct tape to the edge and now it's ferret proof.

Fun toy for ratsMar 10, 2011
By Amy Our rats love this tunnel. We stretch it, knot it, and change it around and they love running through it. So far they haven't chewed anything, but we don't leave them alone with it either. It is just for play. They chase each other through it, tumble and wrestle together inside and just have fun with it. Very cool item!

Ferret loves thisAug 29, 2011

My little girl loves this tunnel. When I took her on a play date to visit 4 other ferret friends, it was hilarious to watch! (She defended herself against 4 others rather well, lol, with a slap move (waving both paws in front in a digging/slapping motion!)). I only gave it 4 stars because it is a little pricey for just some plastic, but its worth it.

Worked great for the first 2 days then.......Aug 25, 2011
By SLK My ferrets completely ripped it apart. The material is very cheap. It could not hold up to the chewing. I would not recommend this to ferrets who like to chew.
