Midwest Starter CrateOct 29, 2009
By B. Matthews I picked up this crate for my 8 month old great dane. He is already 130 pounds and was outgrowing the next smaller crate. This crate is going to be large enough for my dog to grow into and will be big enough to last the rest of his life. Once you get through the directions the crate is very sturdy. If you have a large (Giant) dog, rest assured that your dog will be safe in this crate.

By saraa220 Great bargain for the price. Similar items in the stores for much more. Easy assembly! Bottom tray slides in and out for easy clean up. Sturdy composure.

great value for the moneyJan 06, 2010
By Daisy Doodle This crate is large enough for our St. Bernard - with enough room to spare for a person to climb in with him! We've had the crate 2 months and overall, are very happy with it. The dog loves it - he has room to stretch out and stand up and opts to take his naps in it. For the price, we think the crate is great value, sturdy enough and surprisingly portable - if a little unwieldy for one person. We expect to have it for years to come. if you have the space, highly recommend.

It's really big, but I guess so is my dog!May 03, 2010
By platz Crate is great for the new Large puppy (leonberger) I din't realize how large the crate was until we started putting it together. Seems to be good quality. Only disadvantage is that I won't be ablt to take it along on vacations very easily due to the size and time to tear down and put back together. My 4 year old thinks it's great to get in with the puppy and our heeler.. (although I think it's not meant to cage 4 years olds, it appears that it might work.. jusk kidding!!!)

Holy Building!Sep 23, 2010
By JenniD First off, do not remove any of the pins that are already put in place. My boyfriend made that mistake. It took us an hour to get this thing together. And, you definatly need two people to do it. There was one part that was bent but it seemed to be ok. I will definatly be securing all the edges with zip ties. It doesn't seem that only the pins will do the job. On a better note, I would order this again. I don't know if my dog(White Shepherd)is going through his terrible two's or what but he destroyed my couch. So this is the reason I got it. He loves it!!
