Good for odor, if you really work to get urine out firstJul 06, 2011

I love Nature's Miracle in all forms, for cats and dogs. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, so I have gone through gallons of this stuff. Just recently, I discovered a dark hallway in my basement that my cats had been urinating in instead of in their litter box (we changed to a new litter they apparently didn't like). I think the directions for this product work great, if you're working with fresh stains that are still wet/damp, but when I tried to use it on dry stains, it couldn't get rid of the odor with 2 gallons soaked into the carpet. Plus, it seemed distasteful that there was still cat urine in the carpet, even if the Nature's Miracle had neutralized the odor. This is what I did to get rid of the cat urine odor dried into a large amount of carpet:
I used a carpet cleaner, and used cold water and a fair amount of OxyClean to pull up as much of the dried cat urine as possible. I let the carpet dry, then applied the Nature's Miracle as directed on the bottle. They do not recommend trying to clean with anything else before Nature's Miracle, but I found OxyClean to be a great pre-treater to get dry stains wet enough to clean up.
Some people mentioned the fragrance; I find the smell to be a deterent to my cats to urinate in the same area again.

I have been a cat owner for 17 years and this is the best product on the market for taking out the odor of cat urine. The directions say to saturate the area which is very true. I just recently had cat spray the back of our lazy boy which was very devastating since the furniture was new. After two jugs (128 oz) you can't smell the urine at all and it did not discolor the chair. I wish this had been around 15 years ago!

I tried every product I could think of on the market for cat vomit stains and other cat "accidents". Nothing worked, no matter how miraculous the label said the results were. I ordered this large bottle of Nature's Miracle Advanced Just for Cats and lo & behold, it works! Not only does it work, it works wonderfully. I have had some really ugly accidents in my apartment since my cats resent my work travel, but a soak of this for 5 minutes and a good scrubbing with a scrub brush and the stain & odor are both gone. I have recommended this to several people with cats; never fails.

My cat had a bladder infection and peed on my bed and blankets and on some clothes I smelled Urine EVERYWHERE I went! Even if it was clothes that she hadn't peed on! So I received my product in the mail last night and I sprayed it on my mattress and blankets and the shower curtain that I had been using to protect my bed from more accidents. I then cleaned the bathroom where we keep our little dog because he is not taking to potty training. I sprayed the floor of the bathroom that reeks so bad of dog urine I would get sick regular cleaners only masked the smell they didn't take it out. I went back 10 minutes later and wiped up the spray and the bathroom smelled pleasant. When I woke up this morning I checked the bathroom to see how it smelled and it smelled like the day we moved in! So needless to say we are going to continue buying this product in gallon size so that we can use it as a cleaner for the dog bathroom on a nightly basis and whenever my little kitty happens to have an accident. I also no longer smell cat pee in my room I will post again after washing my blankets. Just to let you know more about the product- you use the product full strength and I suggest getting an empty spray bottle to pour the solution in for easy use just spray it on the contaminated item then wipe it up or throw the item in the washer or rub the spray into the carpet. This product has a pleasant non overwhelming smell to it.

I ordered the advanced formula, thinking that it wouldn't be all that different from the original, but it's awful! Unlike the original Nature's Miracle, which has a faint, refreshing citrus smell, this is heavily perfumed and made me want to gag when I smelled it. Also, I don't know what's in it, but it really irritates my skin...the bottle leaked during shipping and I got some on my hand when I took it out of the box, and my skin started itching and turning red immediately. I have never had this problem with the original formula, which I've gotten on my skin many times. I am definitely sending this back and sticking with what works.
