Venison & Sweet potato dog foodMay 14, 2011
By Sherry Hunter My yellow lab has both allergies and digestion issues. We tried every type of dog food including lamb and rice and he couldn't tolerate it. He finally was ok with venison and potato by Royal Canin but still had bouts of diahera and stomach pain. We were very happy when we found Natural Balance venison and sweet potato. Our lab no longer has any digestion issues and is doing great! We also like the fact that they make a biscuit so he can also have a treat. Amazon is great to order from. We don't pay any shipping and the orders get here in good shape.

Good Stuff...for my pupsApr 13, 2012
By wahina24 No complaints here, my dogs eat the NB venison & sweet potatoes dry dog food and I have to mix in a little of the can food as well so they will eat the dry food. Apparently my dogs are extremely spoiled and refuse to simply eat dry dog food LOL
Vet Recommended FoodMay 21, 2012
By Anne Bellone-Couvertier Our Vet is very much into quality nutrition for our pets and recommended this dog food. Right away you can see the difference from a good quality food as opposed to the bargin brand. The food is so clean and doesn't stick to the can like the cheaper ones that are filled with grease and fat and all kinds of other horrors you need to know about. Do you know that our dogs and cats have been eating diseased animals, in addition to eating the remains of their own species who have been euthanized. Did you know that the makers of dry dog and cat food spray used grease on the food to make it more palatable? Well, they do. These things and more are what we've been unknowingly feeding our pets...food so dangerous that the incidents of cancer amoung our cats and dogs is running rampent. Quality food may cost more, but I'd rather pay a little extra than have one more of my pets die from cancer. Do yourselves and your beloved pets a favor, feed them a good quality food. Others besides Natural Balance include Royal Canin and Blue Buffalo, plus more. The higher priced foods in your grocery stores (Iams, Science Diet) are on the list of BAD foods. Do a little research, you'll be shocked by what you discover. I highly recommend this food.

By Golden's mom We have an 11 year old Golden who suffered for two years with re-occuring ear infections. Nothing the vet prescribed touched it. When she started biting and licking all the fur from her paws and legs, I traveled 30 miles to see the vet that took care of my family's dog when I was a kid. He pulled her off of all commercial dog food and treats, recommending I find a Limited Ingredient Diet product for her. We brought a bag of the kibble and a can of this to show him, and he told us "this has a lot of good stuff in it" so we tried it. Seriously, within two weeks the ears had NO black discharge and the smell was gone. Her paws went from hot and red to cool and pink. This dog got to the point where she disliked being touched because her skin was so stressed, but after introducing her to this food.. she plays, and talks, and loves being a Golden again. Oh, and she snarfs the food. Kibble, can, mix together.. she makes it disappear. We highly recommend Natural Balance Duck and Potato, and Venison and Sweet Potato found in both dry and canned.
Dog really likes itFeb 06, 2011
By Justin C. Graff My dog, who is on a vension diet due to allergies, likes it better than the Science Diet I was buying at the vet, and the price is better ($4 vs. $2 per can). I think he's itching less as well, that may be because he's no longer getting into the cat's food that we try to keep inaccessible to him.
