Picky Guinea Pig DelightMay 08, 2011
By Nathaniel Hillyer Our Guinea Pig is quite picky with her food. She started out on Fiesta mix that came with the kit we bought for her. She liked it, but we ran out.
Then we read reviews about the poor nutritional content of the Fiesta mix, so we ordered the Supreme Gerty Premium Guinea pig food found on Amazon. It took her a while before she ate it, and she had lots of leftovers that would go uneaten.
After our 6-pack of Gerty was gone I decided to see if she would like this brand. She loved it from the first day. We didn't have to mix her old food in with the new because she took to Nature's Elegance instantly. The nutritional content of this mix appears to be very good and we like that it isn't just bland pellets.
We are going to defer to our Guinea Pig for this review, and it is clear that she gives this food five stars! It is worth a bit of extra cost to make her happier with the food.
EDIT: Our Guinea Pig is one year old and she is quite large and loves to eat. She eats one bag of this approximately every 6 weeks (in case you would like to analyze the cost)

Horrible!Oct 08, 2011
By K. Barlow More than a 1/3 of the bag was ground food dust! Not impressed with the other 2/3s either. Save your money and look elsewhere.
