I bought this over a month ago along with the Nylabone Durable Dental Dinosaur; they've been chewed non-stop by each of my four large dogs plus one foster dog. Both are still in great shape and showing little signs of material wearing away. I've also noticed a substantial decrease in the tartar on their teeth and fresher breath as a result. I would suggest going up one size for larger dogs (will do next time) but for now I'll just have to supervise while they chew. Was hesitant at first because of the price but the strength and quality are well worth it.

Since it was described as "regular", I was surprised at how small this was. Luckily, a local pet store let me exchange it for something that would fit my 25 lb. dog. This is for small dogs only.

Well, every dog is different. Both of my dogs love this chew. It did take a couple days before they really got into it, but now I see them chewing on it every day, but it's not destroyed yet. Initially I thought it was too hard for them, but they seem to be able to make dents into it. One dog is a cockapoo? 15 lbs and the other is a terripoo? 20 lbs. Seems like the perfect size for them.

Bit harder than I had expected, but my Miniature Pinscher loves it and has not managed to eat through it. He is not a toy destroyer though and can't imagine it would last long with stronger dogs.

Just purchased this item from local pet store and it does not last very long. It says it's for "powerful chewers" but I let my 10lb shih-poo go at it and within 10 minutes the end is all chewed up. If it can't stand against a 10lb shih-poo then I wouldn't call it durable. It says "Dogs should not bite off large pieces - replace when ends have worn down". It also says "Durable Nylon - Long lasting for powerful, determined chewers". I find neither to be true in my case. I'm gonna return it to the company. If they try to charge me shipping I will never buy another Nylabone product again.
