 sturdy ramMay 09, 2010
My turtle really enjoys this ramp. He had one of those foam ones that didn't keep him dry before. There is plenty of room on the ramp for him to spread out and enjoy the heat. It come with six suction cups that hold it tight to the side of the tank. It is a hard plastic that is easy to clean and sturdy enough to hold under his weight. This is a very good product.

It's an ingenious design and fit snugly and securely in my 90 gallon tank, however my 10-inch female and 5-inch male Red-Eared Slider turtles wouldn't use it. I surported their well enough, although bent a bit under the big turtle's weight. That fact, mixed with the fact that it's clear is why I believe my turtles wouldn't trust it. I'm no longer using it.

I have tried many different methods of basking areas for my two red eared sliders and these ramps and the best yet. It makes it very easy for the clunky turtles to get up out of the water and bask. I have the turtles in two different tanks (one 120 gal and one 75 gal) and have a large ramp in each.

Great idea and very practicalNov 16, 2009
My RES loves it, I love it too. I was worried it won't take the weight and get lose and starts falling down but the ramp works perfectly and it give a clean look to the aquarium. Had it for 2 months now and its a great product.

I like this thing. It holds well to the side of the tank and is strong and sturdy. My only complaint is that it doesn't look natural enough to blend in with the rest of the landscape...especially if your going for a natural looking setting for your turtle.
