I purchased Oste O-3 tablets from my Vet for my 5 year old New Foundland that seems to be having some arthritis problems with her back legs. Within a few days there was a marked improvement. When I ran out of the supplement I switched to a different product also containing Glucosamine HCL (Pro motion) available at PetSmart because it was inconvenient to get back to the Vet to buy more Oste O-3.
My dogs condition degraded while on the new supplement. From this experiment I would assume that the entire blend was what is helping her condition. The two products have a very different blend. From this point on I will only be buying the Oste O-3 via the internet at a 35% savings over what my Vet is selling it for.

Product does seem to help my old girl a little bit. It is very overpriced!! I love my dog and I would pay any amount for even the tinyest bit of help. If the price were more reasonable maybe more people could afford it for their beloved pets.

I have tried several types of joint supplements and wrapped them in all sorts of doggie pleasing goodies but the border collie will not take them, going so far as to refuse a treat if he thinks a pill is lurking inside. These he takes without having to sugar coat them with anything. It is part of our morning routine, he accepts his pill as is and chews it up without question. As to how well they work, he is 10 years old with hip dysplasia and bounds about with endless border collie energy even after hours at the dog park and 2-a-day multiple mile walks. So far he is able to keep active and these do seem to help.

Our 8 yr old long haired dachshund was isolating himself from family activities and growling when anyone approached him or when he jumped from the couch to the floor. Turns out he was in pain and another dachsie owner recommended OsteO-3. Within a week, the growling stopped and our introvert rejoined the family. No more growls - he thinks this supplement is a treat. We can enjoy longer walks too.

I have an older dog with arthritis in her hind end I give her Medi-Cam for her weight size and supplement 3 pills a day with osteo -3 (2 pills in the am and 1 in the pm ) I can't believe the difference I ran out of Osteo 3 and and could not belive it she could hardly walk then I got her back on the osteo 3 and she was fine again just love them for my dog
