Product is long, heavy plastic strips made for the Outback Dog House which screws in above the door and hangs down (note: if you already have the dog house put together, you will have to take off the roof to install this product). I bought this door to protect my cats from the wind coming in the door in the winter. The slats often don't hang straight down -- they get caught up behind one another and hung up on the bedding in the house, but I guess something is better than nothing. I am always straightening them. It affords the cats easy entrance and exit to the house while providing some wind break.

I have three of these doghouses with these clear plastic doors and I think they are wonderful. We put the doghouse doors on in winter and take them off for the summer. I feel that my dogs stay much warmer with the doors on. I have not had much trouble with them chewing them--surprisingly. Maybe they know it keeps them warmer.

Product worked well for holding cold out, dog house heat in. Took a couple of days before our chicken of a dog would go through them, but now everything is great.

Well, I opened the package and the instructions and realize that the rod to hang the individual pieces of plastic strip are MIA. This makes it rather difficult. However, I can't wait another two weeks plus to turn this back and get another one. I looked at the listing and it doesn't say anything about the rod one way or the other. So, for anyone interesed in this product, mine didn't come with the rod to hang it.
