I saw this same pet wire at Petsmart for about double the price. Its the same EXACT product as Petsmart only half the price. Good wire and pretty resistant to the weather.

perfect fence for the stubborn dogMay 03, 2011

I have several dogs, and one is a jumper, 5 foot fence she can leap over in 30 seconds flat. The other dog is a beagle, very stubborn, she can dig under a fence in 30 seconds flat. So I turned to a underground fence, this was the perfect solution, it has kept all my dogs in, I took about 3 days to train, then let them have free range of the 2 acres I fenced in. I bought an extra spool of wire, had no problems putting them together. I also went to home depot and rented for 18 bucks a gas powered edger, it took about 3 hours to dig the line then cover. I haven't had any problem with a broken line.

We placed this wire about 2-3" deep around eight acres. It was a chore, but no problems at all with the wire.

I was a little worried of the gauge, but it installed fine in the ground and worked right away with the invisible fence system.
