It is hard to place the water container onto and get off of the tray.
The bowl is too small for our two larger cats. They drink and splatter water all over the floor.
I would NOT advise buying this.

I bought 2 of these watering systems because I have 2 cats and each having their own significantly reduces fighting between them. Prior to ordering this item, I was using a very old watering system from Wal-Mart that I bought when I adopted my cats 10 years ago. We know live on well water and quite frankly, the calcium build up was just getting to be too much. After reading the description of the item and looking at the picture I was very excited! The product was described as having a "wide-mouth hopper for easy refills and cleaning" leading you to believe that the top portion opens up. It even has a handle that would lead you to the same conclusion. Nope. Its just a piece of plastic over the top of the water jug that LOOKS like an opening. In fact, there is only a very small hole in the bottom for you to try and put what in. Good luck filling this thing from any sink! I have to use a funnel and the hose from my kitchen sink! I have no idea what makes anyone think this is easy to clean. You can't get anything into the jug to clean it...not even a baby bottle brush.
I am VERY disappointed in this product and don't recommend it to anyone.

Its an easy peace of mind.
Its such a simple concept fill and turn upside down.
All 3 of my cats us the two I have and the water replenishes each time.

This pet watering system is big enough to supply your dog with water for several days, but small enough not to be obtrusive. The design is simple and tasteful. It works well and is easy to refill without spilling.

I got this as a back-up for when I go on vacation and leave the pet sitter at the mercy of my cats. You never know when my cats are planning on tripping her down the stairs; then, who'd feed and water them?
All kidding aside, this unit works great. It is easy to clean and setup and impossible for them to knock over.
