14K Blue Great priceAug 22, 2011

Might be too early to review as only have them running a few weeks. Had a few die really early so not sure how long these will go but should replace every year anyway due to color shift. But so far perfect 14K spectrum. Not too blue just right. Their made well from the construction aspect. The company packed them the best have seen for amazon shipping. The price was better than any around at the time.

I bought one of these because my 150watt 10,000k was about to die. So i replaced it and found how beautiful it made the tank. It brings out color in everything. Greens are brighter, blues and brighter, and it increases the look of the tank 10 fold. I loved this bulb so much I bought another one the next day to replace the other side of my 60 gallon reef tank. I highly recommend it.

We love this light! You should know though, it is SUPER blue. But if you love that look like we do, it's awesome! Our zoanthids, mushrooms, acans, clam, and fish are all super happy with this light :)

one off the best bulbs out there.I installed mine in july 2011 its now mid april 2012. the bulb still looks great and my sps are still growing fast.I picked up a hollywood blue stunner challace a month ago and its put on about an inch of growth already.I do not use a calcium reactor. my rose anemone went from half dollar size to over a foot and split last month and stays where i put it on the bottom of the tank. Im using 175w icecap ballast with the 150w 14k phoenix de bulb over a 37 gallon tall tank which makes the tank 24" deep the fixture is another 6" above the water.reviews for bulbs are useless without some details of the setup right.
