Good price and qualitySep 10, 2009
By Nobody Important Needed a longer tie out to attach to my existing dog line so my dog would have more freedom to run so I purchase this and was happy I did. This does the job and is not too heavy for my 7.5 pound chihuahua. Would work for larger dogs as well.

I have NEVER had a problem with these tie-outs!Nov 08, 2011
By JerBearH I have been using these Prestige tie-outs for about 5 yrs now and I think they are perfect. Our dog is a very SOLID 55# and very strong. We live in No WI and the tie-out stays attached to our porch through all seasons and weather. I have found that it usually lasts for aprox. 8-11 months before the plastic will crack and the wire cables inside will start to rust and eventually break but there is usually enough warning time before it breaks if it is just checked periodically. I have NEVER had one of these get a knot or get tangled. I will continue to get this brand in both 30 & 40 ft lengths because I have absolutely NO complaints about the Prestige Tie-Outs.

great value for durable productFeb 03, 2010
By Cecilia Wu I checked out similar items at local pet store and a 20-feet one sells twice the price. This is a great item. We have a husky that knows how to dig his way out of the yard. So if we are away from home for long period of time we need the peace of mind he won't run away and get lost. This is long enough for him to freely walk around the yard, although he sometimes tangles his legs in, that's less of a concern compared to safety. He chewed on the cord a couple of times but didn't manage to make a damage.
Good product at a reasonable priceMay 15, 2012
By C. Medlin We bought this to occasionally hook up a 50lbs dog outside.
Pros: + Strong, and has not rusted + Does not get tangled easily + Easy to attach
Possible negative: - The color faded rather quickly, but we leave it outside in the Florida sun, so that is not surprising. Personally, I do not mind that it has faded, so that is not an issue for me, but it may be for some.
Overall - Good product at a reasonable price. I would recommend it.
Thinner cable and no spring on tie outAug 13, 2011
By FrugalFreak I've bought this item before, It then was a thicker cable and came with all steel connecting clasp to cable. It is now a thinner cable, pot metal connector and no spring. I won't order this item again. It says large dogs but should be labeled now medium sized ones. Your decreased quality has lost my business.
