LAB-MIX BREAKS TIE-OUTSFeb 15, 2012

These super beast tie-outs are the best on the market available. They withstand much abuse but not all. Our lab-mix pulls on it and eventually it does break at an end where the clasp is attached so you'll need to keep a watch on it. But all in all it is the best for a dog who jumps a 6' fence to go visiting.

I have a 90 pound very active doberman that needs to be tied when we are BBQing or are outside doing landscaping or just sitting outside. This tie out does the work!! I actually use a prong collar at the end of this so the Doberman does not pull very hard - So i can't attest to the fact that it will not break. It is very strong otherwise - the clips alone are proof that it is not a cheap made material. It is very heavy just to even carry around. I only wish they made a 50 foot tie.
It is a little pain to roll back up - since i don't want anyone mowing over it.
All in all for the price and durability this a great buy.
I got the large dog stake from walmart and that works great this with this. The stake cost me less then $6.

By badkarma Very strong, but my doberman did break after he rubbed it against a cinder block many times. I am purchasing another.

Yesterday the end that has the latch on it, the wire just popped right out and my 55 lb. golden retriever was loose. There was no pulling, the cable just fell out of the latch. I can't recommend this for anyone, that was very scary for me since we live right next to a road.

It's a beast!Jun 28, 2011
By W. Hudson The only reason I knocked off a star is because they don't offer longer sizes.
It's pretty heavy, so I wouldn't recommend it if your dog is less than 75lbs. It's thick and seems pretty tough. I can't imagine ANY dog breaking or chewing through this.
