Great for frogs, not crickets. Many things to consider...Mar 09, 2011

For me it's a two star, for my frogs it's a four so I compromised. =)
Top is fairly sturdy when assembled and it was super easy to build. Door latch is hard to latch but when it catches it is a good closure. Door is on top and I have to take the light off to open it to feed. I have smaller frogs, and smaller crickets and the crickets can escape. I had to take the branches out to keep the crickets at the bottom. It pops off real easy for cleaning but leaves a gap at the bottom and small frogs can escape so you can't leave them in there. There is a gap at two spots I had to use zippies to make a little smaller after somebody escaped. I probably could have pinched it with pliers but didn't want to scratch the nice black finish.
Otherwise it would be great. Frogs climb all over it and play hanging from the top. They love the cheesy fake vines. Great ventilation. Fits my 10 gal nicely except for very small gap at front and back. I have tadpoles and will have to house the froglets in something else so they can't escape.
I put pics up with notes on the problem areas.
