The page specifies the tube contains 4.6 ounces. When received it only contained 2.5 ounces.

I bought the toothpaste and there were some weird green fibers in there. My dog sniffed at it and turned his head away. So I called the manufacturer,(800)338-3659, to ask them what the green fibers were. They did send a pick-up for lab test but later never returned my phone call when I asked for the result (I called many times. When I called this company no one ever answers the phone. I don't know if it's going out of business or what. But I wouldn't dare to purchase any more product from this company.

Just like another reviewer, when I'm brushing one dog's teeth, the other is "standing in line" (if there was a line). And my dogs seem to love the taste, whether I get poultry or beef flavor, it doesn't matter. I decided to get serious with keeping my dogs teeth clean about 2.5 years ago, when I spent over $300 a piece to get their teeth cleaned (nearly $700 for both). Not to mention that they had to be in discomfort with the bad teeth, etc. etc. So, now I brush them daily with a regular soft tooth brush. I started with a finger brush, but when it wore out, I couldn't find any more of that particular kind. So, I just use some Petrodex on a regular tooth brush now, and it works great! Just about every time I go to the vet, they mention that their teeth look great. One vet even referred to me as a "super owner", because I brush the dogs teeth, and flush their ears regularly. Plus, she said that it is good for their overall health. So, get a properly sized toothbrush for the size of your dogs mouth, get them some Petrodex tooth paste, and clean their teeth regularly (I do it every day, unless I don't have time), and judging by the results I've gotten the past 2.5 years, your dog's teeth will look great. My dogs' teeth look like they were just professionally cleaned yesterday, after 2.5 years of using Petrodex!!

We have three dogs and they actually line up to get their teeth brushed. We guess they like nice clean teeth and fresh breath!

My dog loves this chicken flavored enzyme tooth paste. I bought it for him as a puppy and used it once or twice a week with one of those finger dog tooth brushes. I would also put it in the crevices of the nubby chew dog bones to get him to work his gums and get the enzymes deep in his bite. I did this for 6-7 years.
I was unable to brush his teeth regularly like above for several years but did do the chewy bone treatment, and still, at 14, his vet said in amazement that my dog has the teeth of a 6 year old!
I wish the vet wouldn't have said that in ear shot, my dog acts like he owns the dog park now, his ego has swelled.
