Our hermit crabs likes this little crab castle. It's sturdy, plastic, easy to clean and roomy but coze. We tried using a coconut shell we cracked ourselves but the edges were sharp and it didn't stand up right. So I ordered this and it works perfectly. I actually bought two.

This is good for your crab and your small hamster! i recomend it more for like a mouse or a robo dwarf hamster because, they like to be hidden when sleeping and most igloo houses are see-through but this one is NOT!! Yes! So it is also good for your hermit.
