It works!Aug 09, 2010

I ordered this from amazon a couple of weeks ago and my rabbit is now litter trained! So, it works! I didn't, however, see any instructions in the package so went online to get some tips on how to get started. This is the only reason why I gave it a 4 star. After some tips online, I put a few of the rabbits "pellets" in the box along with the litter, placed it in the area where he typically went, and in 2 days he was going completely in the little box! My rabbit could probably use a bigger box but this worked for the size of cage he is in right now. I recommend this type as it fits nicely in a corner.

Great for potty training a guinea pig.Dec 15, 2011
By The End Good, sturdy construction and attaches to cage so the piggy can't push it around. Cavy litter comes with it, but I'm using cage litter presently.
Cavies are natural clean animals, and they like to eliminate in a specific area in the cage, so as not to 'contaminate' the entire cage. Yes, they do poo/pee in their sleep, but if you keep an eye on that, moving it to the litter pan, that helps keep the cage clean. Also, clean the litter box every two days or so. If the litter pan gets nasty, the piggie won't use it.
Highly recommend.
not so great for bunnyMay 19, 2012
By FelBaus I have had several issues with this product. 1. Too big, my bunny (medium sized) can sit and lay in it. 2. The litter resembles food and made my bunny really sick 3. The pan flops over
This would be a better product for outside of the cage, but as a starter I would start with something smaller.

I bought this because my new baby mini lop was peeing in 2 corners of his cage, when I put this in he started peeing only in it, eliminating the mess right away. I put the provided litter balls under newspaper and hay to be sure he didn't eat any of the little balls. Seems to be working! Easy to clean, fits in the corner of his outdoor hutch. Would recommend for sure.
Good for a starterJan 20, 2012
By Heleny Since this is a litter training kit, it's good to use if you're starting out, but I don't recommend using the pan after a few weeks. The litter pan is just too small. I also didn't use the litter because I don't know if it's completely safe for my rabbit. The scoop that the kit comes with is okay for spot cleaning though.
